Tennessee Volunteersā 5-Out Zoom
For you 5-Out coaches, hereās a twist on zoom action for your early offense. After the ball is centered, the 5 swings the ball to 4. Players 1 and 4 go into zoom action for the 2. You can also have 5 set an away screen for 3. Player 2 comes out of zoom for a drive, or 3 comes off 5ās pin down screen to receive a pass for a 3PA.
SSG of the Week: 1v2 Nail Finishing
A solid warmup game to work on pivoting and finishing. The defender at the top of the key starts with the basketball. The player on offense stands on the nail, facing the passer. On the catch, play is live (1v2). Possible constraints: 4 second clock, 2-3 dribbles, etc.
