⛹️ SSG: Contested Shooting off Ghost Screens
Ghost screens have become commonplace in today’s game. I like getting quick reps in small group workouts with this shooting drill:
Offense starts at the slot and the top of the key with a defender at the slot.
Dr. Dish passes to the slot, who dribbles to the top of the key as the opposite slot sets a ghost screen and rolls for an open look at the wing.
The defender chases the pass and contests the shot.

🎞️ Constraints for Improved Player Learning with Joerik Michiels
Watch one of my favorite coaches, Joerik Michiels, as he works through a constraints led approach to coaching players. Coach Michiels talks through the seven constraints to use to help your players learn the game at higher rights.

🏀 SSG: Pull-Up Jump Shot with Contest
Mid-range jump shots aren’t my favorite; however, with defenses focusing on taking away the 3P line and anything inside, 15-foot jumpers may be your only option at times.
Offensive player starts in the corner, defensive player on the baseline.
With cones at the wing and block, Dr. Dish passes to the offense, who dribbles around the wing for a 1-dribble pull-up jump shot.
The defense runs around the block cone to contest the shot.
