The slot drive + toss back is common on a lot of 4-out, 1-in early offense actions. Rep the decision-making to shoot or drive off the action with this 1v1 game.
The driver gets to the nail then tosses back to the player on offense.
Hand down on the closeout or light contest means shoot it. Hard contest means drive it. The offense must play off two feet in the paint.

Sometimes, it’s as simple as adding a coach or two out there to force players to make decisions.
On the catch, the player drives middle.
The two coaches can give help on the drive or stick to their man.
The driver must recognize the big advantage 3PA and kick to the right shooter.
