Happy New Year! It’s time to fine-tune your offense with positional breakdown drills. This week, 3 breakdown drills to build your guards’ individual physical and mental skills.
Neutral, Multi-Spot 1v1
Five chairs are positioned along the perimeter outside the three-point line, each with a ball. The offensive and defensive players start in the lane with the defense positioned behind the offense. The offense can use misdirection to approach any chair, retrieve a "live" ball, and attempt to score. After the offense either scores or is stopped by the defense, both players return to the lane. The offense selects a different chair. This cycle repeats until the player on offense has picked up all five balls.
